Don't let the inclement weather spoil your day, wrap up warm and put your wellies on, and come to Castle Howard for some traditional fairground fun.

We are celebrating Easter this year with some good old-fashioned fun for all the family, from Friday 2nd to Monday 5th April.

One again we will be hosting a traditional children’s fun fair including a carousel, a train ride, swing boats and a chair ride.  The Easter bunny will popping in to say 'hello', and children can get their face painted and join our giant Easter egg hunt to win prizes.  All activities are included in your admission.  A Dixie style jazz band will be parading around the gardens entertaining families with ‘Dixieland’ favourites such as "When the Saints Go Marching In", "Ain't Misbehavin'" and "Alexander's Ragtime Band”. 

We will also be launching our new illustrated gardens trail - which will keep children happy as their parents explore the wonderful grounds and gardens.

All of these activities, along with Castle Howard’s high-energy adventure playground,  rides on the land train and delicious ice cream make for a great Easter day out!
