Castle Howard was built by a playwright, is it little wonder then that a walk through the landscape is full of dramatic surprises? Our walking route lets you step back in time to the early eighteenth century when the grounds were first fashioned, and on to later eras when these features were changed or restored. These tours offer exclusive access to buildings normally not open to the public.
