Sunday 22 July again sees Castle Howard play host to the third edition of the Castle Howard Triathlon.  This is the 3rd race in the 2012 pan-European series and will see some of the very best triathletes in the UK and Europe mix it with newcomers to the sport.  Competitors swim in the Great Lake, cycle around the challenging Howardian Hills and then finish with a loop of the stunning estate grounds.  With children as young as 8 years taking part in the afternoon event, family entertainment and live music this event is rapidly becoming a major fixture on the estate calendar."
