This year marks 25 years since Castle Howard first opened its lawn for the famous Proms Spectacular.

Over 250,000 people have waved their Union Jack flags along to rousing anthems and classical favourites, oohed and aahed at the show-stopping firework displays and peered upwards at spitfire flyovers over the years.

Come rain or shine, the north lawn of the magnificent stately home has always been packed with an eager crowd  armed with picnics, blankets and umbrellas (just in case) set to enjoy an unrivalled evening of summer’s entertainment.

Castle Howard wants to see your Proms pictures from across the years and are inviting you to share your photos on twitter for a chance to win a pair of tickets to this year’s concert on Saturday 22 August.
