Shop in the beautiful surroundings of the 18th-century Stable Courtyard at Castle Howard and discover a wonderful selection of shops and cafés.

Country living is the inspiration at the Carriage House where you will find a wide choice of home accessories, clothing, jewellery and toiletries. While at the Bookshop, discover fiction and non-fiction for all ages, as well as toys, games and stationery.  Our popular Farm Shop will impress with its delicious estate and local produce, well-stocked delicatessen and busy butchery. There is also a great range of gift food and confectionery, as well as home-baking offering plenty of inspiration for teatime treats. Then relax in the bistro style Courtyard Café enjoying seasonal menus created by our team of talented chefs, or or take-out coffee, patisserie and ice cream at the Coffee Shop.

Open daily from 10am until 5pm (4pm in January and February) with free admission and parking.
