Keep the Home Fires Burning
Event Type: Event for all

As we recognise the centenary of the end of the Great War, join us for the closing night of our 'Duty Calls' exhibition with access to new archive material and fantastic live musical performances by Jessa Liversidge.

Jessa will bring her moving and entertaining one woman show to Castle Howard for one night only, featuring stories of women during wartime told through songs, poems and narrative accompanied on the piano by Malcolm Maddock.

The evening will be introduced by Castle Howard's Curatorial team who will show some newly donated personal items from our own archive dating back to the First and Second World Wars and there'll be the opportunity to view our 'Duty Calls' exhibition for the final time before the house is set up for Christmas.

The event will start at 6.00pm and tickets cost £20 per adult, £18 per concession and £15 for Friends of Castle Howard.

Light refreshments will be available on the evening.
