Ali Campbell, Astro & Mickey Virtue form Britain's biggest reggae band UB40 and they will be live at Castle Howard this summer, playing their infectious feel-good Jamaican inspired grooves.


On Sunday 19th August UB40 will play their greatest hits and new tracks from their latest album 'A Real Labour of Love'.

Over 35 years in the music business and over 70 million record sales worldwide, 13 Top 20 albums and iconic songs like Red, Red Wine, Kingston Town, One In Ten, (I Can't Help) Falling In Love With You to name but a few.

Supported by Aswad and Loose Ends featuring Carl McIntosh, this will be one of the most uplifting concerts of the summer.


Gates open at 5pm and the concert will begin at 6pm.

Tickets in advance cost £39.50 for Adults and £20.00 for Children (5 to 16 yrs)

Tickets on the day are £47.50 (subject to availability).

Castle Howard Silver & Gold Friends and Annual Pass holders are entitled to a discounted ticket rate. Please note this discounted rate will not be available after 4pm on Friday 17th August 2018. Members will be required to present their Annual Pass on with their discounted ticket as proof of entitlement on entry.

Additional Information:

This is a non-picnic event and you are not permitted to bring any food or alcoholic drink inside the concert arena. Soft drinks will be permitted into the concert arena but are restricted to 500ml per person, in a sealed bottle only.
Fully licensed bars offering a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic cold beverages will be available on site. 
We also have food vendors selling a varied range of dishes and hot beverages.
Please note that food and drink vendors will not be accepting card payments and due to the nature of the venue, there will be no cash point available onsite.

Seating is not provided but you are welcome to bring folding chairs and rugs.

Free parking is provided on site and special provision is made for disabled parking.

Disabled Ticket - Entitles the bearer to bring one carer free of charge. Carer Tickets are not issued online, to obtain your Carer Ticket, you will be required to present a valid Disabled Ticket to the Box Office at the Main Entrance on the day. Our customer service staff will issue Carer tickets accordingly. 
The concert takes place on a sloping grass lawn with access from the disabled car park being a tarmac road. There is no disabled viewing platform or special seating provided. Special arrangements for car parking are made for blue badge holders, please have your badge on visible display within your vehicle. Accessible toilet facilities will be available on the evening.
