Our expert team are on hand to offer advice, and our friendly butchers will prepare the perfects cuts from the Estate and our local partner farms. The Farm Shop stocks everything you need from fruit and veg, meat, and bread, to wines, spirits, specialty soft drinks and gifts. At our delicatessen counter you will find over 30 cheeses, hand-picked for their flavour and quality, delicious pates, olives, antipasti along with scotch eggs and sausage rolls.

Our butchery team have the pick of the finest quality, hand reared produce, mainly sourced from within 40 miles. Our team work closely with local farmers and suppliers to ensure only the finest quality meat and poultry makes it to the counter. We also offer a variety of seasonal game provided by Castle Howard’s own gamekeeper.Our 21-day matured sirloin steak was nominated in the Deliciously Yorkshire Taste Awards 2018, by having a deep, rich flavour and tender, succulent texture makes it a delicious showstopper.
Castle Howard Gin is a classic juniper led, dry spirit with aromatic extracts of coriander, cardamom, orange peel and St. John’s Wort. Further enhanced by tinctures of floral notes from Meadowsweet and sweet-sour elements from Crab apple, both foraged from the Estate. Finally, the dry gin finish is accompanied by citrus notes from Lemon Balm, harvested from the wonderful formal gardens. Castle Howard Gin is produced by Sloemotion in Barton-le-Willows, less than five miles from Castle Howard.
