Two new displays will showcase material from our archives in 2016.

Commemorating 400 years since Shakespeare's death a selection of illustrated work from out library will be on display from 19 March to 25 May 2016, along with a statue of the playwright and a death mask taken from his effigy.

From 28 May our collection of replica crown jewels will go on display in celebration of the Queen's 90th birthday. The collection which was made to Robert White & Co of London in 1975 includes replicas of the Sovereign's Orb, Coronation Ring and St Edward's Crown, as well as a number of other pieces.
