Our farm shop has added to its growing list of Made in Malton suppliers with Groovy Moo gelato now available alongside Roost coffee, Brass Castle beer, Butterbees butter and Bluebird Bakery breads and pies.

A selection of freshly made tubs in a variety of flavours are hand delivered each week and are the perfect accompaniment to any visit to the house and grounds or as a welcome treat after an estate walk or bike ride.

Kat Richardson, farm shop manager said: ‘It’s fantastic to have such great food right on our doorstep and we’re now stocking a range of Made in Malton items. The Groovy Moo gelato tubs are our latest addition and are already proving hugely popular with both locals and tourists.

‘It’s great to be able to showcase the best of what the region has to offer and help promote Malton as Yorkshire’s food capital. We’ll be showing off a selection of our bestsellers at this month’s Food Lovers Festival too.’

Michelle Smith and her son Ashley opened Groovy Moo in 2015 with a commitment to serving the finest handmade ice cream in Yorkshire and it is fast becoming the place to visit in Malton.

The inventive flavours and fresh ingredients have combined to make top quality gelato which is going down a storm with locals; on a hot day queues are out of the door at the parlour.

Recent flavours include black vanilla, rhubarb and stem ginger, cassis and salted caramel.
