Nearly 2,000 acres of woodland are managed for commercial timber production and amenity value. Our Autumn programme is underway.

The woods divide equally between coniferous and deciduous planting and harvested timber has many uses.

In recent years older coniferous plantations have been felled and replanted with a mix of broadleaf species.

We are currently undertaking thinning and felling operations in the following woodlands, please take care and follow signage when walking on public footpaths and bridleways in these areas:
