£38,000 per annum, 40 hours per week, 5 days over 7 including weekends, bank holidays and occasional evenings
Join Our Team as Food & Beverage Manager

Castle Howard Estate Limited are actively seeking an experienced Food & Beverage Manager to take the lead in overseeing our diverse F&B operations. As a visible and dynamic leader, you will guide a team of up to 80 individuals during peak seasons, fostering an atmosphere filled with energy and enthusiasm.

In this multifaceted role, you will be responsible for managing the daily operations of our four unique catering outlets, each characterised by a distinct style of working. Your duties will also include overseeing high-end banqueting events, managing pop-up catering concessions, selling ice cream, catering for large concerts and festivals, coordinating corporate hospitality, providing crew catering, and organising weddings and luxury afternoon teas.

In addition to your day-to-day tasks, you will be responsible for recruiting, training, and managing a flexible workforce, ensuring adherence to best practices. Key components of the role include actively participating in menu discussions, implementing sales incentives, and maintaining consistent communication with the Head of Food and Beverage, Head Chef, and other departments. Reporting directly to the Head of Food and Beverage, you will also lead a team of 5 supervisors who will be reporting to you.

In a seasonal business environment with a catering turnover exceeding £2 million, your leadership will play a vital role in maintaining operational excellence and upholding standards of cleanliness and tidiness. Utilising EPOS systems and analytics, you will track business performance and contribute to the overall success of our dynamic team.
