We are currently looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to join our team!

Job Purpose

Carry out daily food preparation; assist in the production of hot and cold food in accordance with the menu and guidelines to high standards of presentation and quality. Assist in the daily cleaning and washing up during service.

Key Deliverables

• Carry out all aspects of preparation and presentation of food as per the daily menus and agreed recipes
• All duties must be carried out in compliance with all statutory, Estate Health and Safety and Food Hygiene regulations
• Ensure that all food is presented and served in a clean and hygienic environment
• Daily deep cleaning as required in line with cleaning policy and daily check sheets
• Provide high levels of personal standards of performance, hygiene and appearance at all times, wearing the correct company uniform at all times and ensuring it is clean and pressed
• Communicate well, and to demonstrate a pleasant and polite personality to both customers and fellow team members
• Assist at any special functions, some of which may occur outside working hours.
• Undertake any other duties as reasonably requested by senior manager.
