Key Responsibilities: • Project Management: Take the lead on managing specific projects within the Natural Environment department, including woodlands, tree nurseries, gardens, and contract farming partnerships. • Environmental Scheme Support: Assist in applications for current (CSS/FIPL) and new environmental schemes (ELMS) and capital grant applications. • Collaboration and Support: Work closely with environmental, scientific, and farming consultants to support various projects and initiatives. • Meetings Documentation: Support and document regular Heads of Departments H&S meetings and Natural Environment meetings. • Property Enquiries: Prepare responses to routine property enquiries, covering the extent of the Estate’s ownership, covenants, wayleaves and easements, and rights of way. • Mapping: Ensure estate maps are accurate and up to date, serving as the single point of contact for LandApp. • Stakeholder Relationships: Establish and maintain positive working relationships with key stakeholders, including tenants, local authorities, parish councils, and local bodies. • Online Presence: Manage and update Natural Environment webpages and blogs, collaborating with the Marketing department on social media content and updates. • Ad Hoc Duties: Undertake any other duties as reasonably required.
