We are delighted to announce that Castle Howard have been shortlisted for the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM)’s prestigious Marketing Excellence Awards 2020.

The awards have been running for over ten years and recognise and reward brilliance in the field of marketing, celebrating the finest minds within the profession.

We will compete in the Marketing Campaign of the Year category for our Skelf Island Adventure Playground campaign and will be judged by an esteemed panel of experts, from across brands such as: Financial Times, HSBC, Hello Fresh, Everton Football Club and leading agencies.

Skelf Island is our magical new adventure playground set in the treetops, on the banks of the Great Lake. For centuries the Skelves have inhabited this secret world, over the water from Castle Howard, causing mischief and mayhem high up in the trees, interacting with birds and protecting wildlife. Now they have become curious about the humans that visit and want to explore and play with them. Rope bridges, slides, nets and climbing equipment will allow the Skelves to take young visitors on an adventure like no other. Children (and their adults!) are invited to cross the Island bridge and discover the world of the Skelves.

Previous winners include Britvic, Natwest, Royal Air Force, Transmission and Southeastern and we now hope to add Castle Howard to the list of prestigious winners.
