May Half Term at Castle Howard

Plan a memorable family day out this May Half Term at Castle Howard. Let your imagination take centre stage with Playshapes: Castle Constructors, an interactive artwork where all ages can play, build and have fun with big colourful shapes, created by Yorkshire artist Pippa Hale.

Over at the Castle Howard Arboretum, discover the wonders of the natural world with Mini Beasts, where young explorers can get hands-on with nature with fun activities and wildlife discovery.

Elsewhere let off steam at Skelf Island Adventure Playground, enjoy peaceful walks through blooming Gardens and woodland full of rhododendrons, and take in the seasonal beauty of the Estate as spring turns to summer. With plenty to see and do for all ages, Castle Howard offers the perfect mix of adventure, creativity and fresh-air fun this May Half Term.
