Ticket Office Assistant
£12.21 per hour, variety of hours available

We’re looking for enthusiastic and customer focused individuals to join our Ticket Office team, helping to create a warm welcome for all our guests.

As a Ticket Office Assistant, you’ll be the first point of contact for our visitors, providing excellent customer service and ensuring a smooth start to their day at Castle Howard. From selling tickets and memberships to answering queries and giving information, you’ll play a key role in delivering a memorable visitor experience. 

Key responsibilities:

  • Welcome visitors and provide outstanding customer service.
  • Process ticket and membership sales accurately and efficiently.
  • Provide information about Castle Howard
  • Assist with queue management and ensure smooth visitor flow.

About you:

  • Friendly, approachable and confident in engaging with the public.
  • Strong communication skills and a helpful, proactive attitude.
  • Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Previous customer service or sales experience is an advantage, but full training will be provided.
  • Flexible with working hours, including weekends and bank holidays.
