Sea The Sheep
Latest From: House & Grounds
This summer, the North York Moors National Park is asking local businesses and communities to take part in their ‘Sea the Sheep’ campaign by creating a seaside holiday themed sheep! The campaign aims to make visitors to the area smile and encourage people to explore our amazing local landscape while hunting for the holidaying sheep.
We love a challenge and so from the 1st July to 31st August we will be displaying our seaside themed sheep at Castle Howard. Why not come and see if you can spot it? (Here’s a little tip – our sheep has a fondness for boats and water!)
With lots of other businesses, schools and communities taking part, our display will be part of a whole herd of sheep dotted across the Yorkshire Dales, moorlands and all the way to the coast.
Be part of the challenge. If you find our sheep, take a snap and share it to let others know where they can spot it! #SeaTheSheep #castlehoward
For more information and a map of all the sheep in the area check out the
North York MoorsNational Park website.
