Now is the time to marvel at the colourful collection of rhododendrons and azaleas in Ray Wood.  The woodland garden, originally laid out by plantsman, James Russell VMH within Ray Wood, is now in the final stages of a three-year long restoration by the Castle Howard Arboretum Trust, which includes the opening up of new pathways for visitors.  Access to Ray Wood is included in the admission ticket to Castle Howard.
