This rare tour offers privileged access to areas of the House rarely seen by the public, revealing hidden spaces, architectural marvels and remarkable objects that hold centuries of untold stories.
Travel from the highest points of the building to its atmospheric lower levels, discovering secret viewpoints and hearing captivating tales from over 300 years of Castle Howard’s history. From grand design details to the personal stories of those who lived and worked here, this immersive experience brings the House to life in a truly special way.
The guided tour lasts approximately two hours, and your ticket also includes full access to the House and Gardens on the day of your visit.
Please note that the tour involves narrow staircases and significant heights and unfortunately is not suitable for wheelchair users.
The tour starts at 4pm and is BSL interpreted.
