Three new senior positions have been created as part of our ongoing commitment to securing Castle Howard’s future and ensuring its success as a diverse modern business.

We welcome Allister Nixon, Chief Operating Officer; Josh Feakins, Estate Director and Mark Pemberton, House Director.

Victoria Howard, Executive Chairman said: ‘I am delighted to welcome Allister, Josh & Mark at this pivotal time in Castle Howard’s history as we look to invest in all areas of the business. As Castle Howard continues to diversify and grow, the board has identified a need to appoint specialists who will support the family and directors in the ongoing challenges of running a 9,000 acre working estate and award winning visitor attraction.’ All three come with a wealth of experience in their fields; Allister joins from Kantar Media Audiences where he was Chief Operating Officer, Josh from a large estate in East Sussex where he was Resident Agent and Mark from English Heritage where he held the position of Director of National Collections.
