www.sardaengland.co.uk
Pop along and find out more about the work of the Search and Rescue Dog Association. Meet some of the four legged team, both retired and dogs in training, who dedicate their lives to the search and rescue of lost walkers and climbers in the North of England.

Dogs are welcome at Castle Howard across many areas of the visitor attraction. In the Courtyard Cafe we allow dogs to accompany their humans both inside and outside and the butchers in the farm shop will happily provide you with a bone. We ask that dogs are kept on their leads in the Grounds but are welcome to enjoy all areas of the gardens, but please do not let dogs go in the adventure playground area. Down at the boathouse you'll find nice outdoor seating on the decking and bowls of water for your pooch, plus we serve dog friendly ice cream from the kiosk. Similarly we have plenty of seating in the Boar Garden, and can provide water bowls. Dogs are welcome in the Fitzroy restaurant but please refrain from bringing dogs into the House itself, with the exception of assistance dogs. Dogs are also welcome in the Garden Centre, where we stock a range of doggie items.
