Sat 21st April 2018 to Sun 22nd April 2018
Event Type: Event for all
Hot off the back of their run at the Adelaide Fringe Festival and the Vaults Festival in London, this modern adaptation of the Greek mythical legend fuses contemporary storytelling and haunting folk music visits Castle Howard for two exclusive performances.

Dave is single, stood at the bar with his mates, about to turn 30.
Eurydice is a mythical dryad - a tree nymph.
And Bruce Springsteen is on the Jukebox.

A tale of impossible, death defying, love and loss and adventure. A tale of this world and the next, and of how far we'll go for the people we love, and what happens when we come back empty handed, told through spoken word and soaring soul music. The Flanagan Collective, with Gobbledigook Theatre weave a world of dive bars and side streets and ancient gods and late night karaoke, written by Flanagan Collective's Alexander Wright with music by Phil Grainger.

Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd April, 7.30pm in the Grecian Hall. Please park in the main visitor car park allowing yourself enough time to walk down to the House entrance (approximately a 10 minute walk). The Grecian Hall and bar will be open from 7pm.

Tickets are £17 per adult and £15 per concession (students & over 60s). Childrens tickets are available for £10 per child but we advise this performance is only suitable for children over the age of 12.
