Discover the different ways that you can volunteer at Castle Howard.
wasp

We are keen to grow our group of friendly and enthusiastic volunteers that help us ensure our visitors have an excellent experience whilst at Castle Howard. We have opportunities available throughout the week, both indoors and outdoors, sharing stories of our rich history and bringing to life the amazing collections we hold.

We will of course reimburse any travel expenses, provide a full induction and training programme with ongoing support.

This is a wonderful opportunity to work alongside people with similar interests, develop your knowledge of Castle Howard’s long history and contribute to the preservation and conservation for future generations to enjoy.

No previous experience is required as training will be provided.

If you are interested in being a part of our volunteer team, we would be keen to hear from you. Please complete our Volunteer Registration Form and return it to our HR Department at [email protected] or by post to HR Department, Estate Office, Castle Howard Estate, York, YO60 7DA.
