Castle Howard Memory Walk: cancelled due to COVID-19
Event Type: Event for all

A message from the organisers...
Unfortunately, due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, Memory Walks will not be taking place as planned this year, but you can still walk your own Memory Walk for your loved ones. We hope to be back at Castle Howard in 2021 – keep an eye out for the new date soon.

Memory Walk is coming to Castle Howard for the first time this October - with every step you will help change the lives of people affected by dementia – now and in the future.

Ahead of the walk you’ll have the chance to gather with fellow Memory Walkers, where you can take a moment to reflect on who you are walking for by leaving a message on the Memory Tree, and see it blossom throughout the morning.

Here you can join in the pre-walk warm up, before the route takes you around the grounds of Castle Howard, where you can take in the Temple of the Four Winds and the Mausoleum as well as the parkland, farmland and forested landscape.

The route is 6.5km (route and distance are subject to change). Due to the nature of the route, this walk is unsuitable for pushchairs and wheelchairs, we apologise for any disappointment.
